Dance

Zumba®: We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.

Liquid Motion®: An all levels class that utilizes elements of fitness conditioning, sensual movement and dance theory to provide a total mind and body movement experience. This 60 minute class is made up of body conditioning, lateral movement drills, intricate floor sequences, exploration of sensual movement and an understanding of total body awareness. 
***KNEE PADS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS CLASS**

Hip Hop : This is a non-stop, cardio-intense dance class where dance routine meets cardio and fitness benefits. Each class you will learn and memorize a fun routine that creates an adrenaline rush like to other. Unleash your personal style as you gain confidence, coordination, agility.

*Great for beginners. All levels welcome.

 

Yoga / Flexibility / Balance

AcroYoga: AcroYoga is a physical practice which blends elements of yoga, acrobatics, performance and healing arts. In addition to the exercise and strength building aspects of AcroYoga, the partner balancing can improve concentration and the massage elements can provide stress relief.

Hand Balancing: Why stand on your feet when you can stand on your hands? In this class, we work on exercises and drills for developing proper strength and control for various floor inversions. Using a mix of yoga, gymnastics and modern dance techniques we work towards headstands, handstands, tripod, crow and much more!

Flexibility: This class will focus on the best stretches for added flexibility in your workouts. We use the pole, yoga blocks, bands as well as the floor to increase flexibility in the hips, legs, back and shoulders. Activities that lengthen and stretch muscles can help you prevent injuries, back pain, and balance problems. A well-stretched muscle more easily achieves its full range of motion.

workshops

Throughout the year we will offer different types of workshops. Be on the look out for everything ranging from travelling pole superstars to Liquid Motion Certifications. Lyra and Silks weekends and acroyoga intensives. We might even throw in a few surprises!!!
